We were tasked with taking a section of a 1935 speech by Sir Ernest Rutherford and giving him a new voice for Sparks' 5G campaign with a script written by our friends at Colenso.

 

We began by sourcing a copy of the original 35mm film print, made a very accurate digital 3D model of Sir Ernest and the room surrounding him, then recreated the bottom half of his face and moustache so that we could animate him speaking to the new voiceover.
