We used pretty much everything but ice cream and chocolate to create this commercial for Kapiti - 3D almonds, shampoo being squirted into a fish tank, dirt, an egg being cracked and some out of focus fireworks....yum. The project involved a day in the studio with Damon shooting on our in-house "lazy Steve" system. Lazy Steve is a computer controlled turntable (built by Mr Rhys Dippie) that allows us to incrementally shoot and capture frames in rotation. We used it/him to shoot the product and wrapping as separate passes (on blue screen) to create the end pack transition. Version 2 of Lazy Steve will have the sense of fear and will operate on corn instead of mains power.
